Five years ago, Co-Founder, Caitlin began making jewellery at home - a hobby that she started during COVID. She decided to try her luck at a local market selling the items she had made with her mother, Diane. It was then that the market bug well and truly started.
Caitlin and Diane fell in love with the market scene and spent the next 5 years travelling around the North West selling Caitlin’s Jewellery and Diane’s homeware brand, and falling in love with the market community.
Those 5 years went by but something had changed. The community that we loved just didn’t feel the same and we began to loose that feeling.
A conversation came about one day about creating our own company, which held these core values that we treasured so much, and with that, D&D was created!
D&D Artisan Markets was initially created by Caitlin and named after both her parents; Diane and David (C&D didn’t have as nice of a ring to it!). Diane became a Co-Founder with her years of business experience and vision, and our partnership was born. Together, Diane and Caitlin create events around the North West, bringing community and art together for all to experience.
Our goal is to create events which foster a sense of community, and to provide platforms for small independent and local businesses.
