We understand that extreme weather conditions can occasionally impact the safe and successful delivery of our artisan markets. While we make every effort to ensure that all scheduled events proceed as planned, the safety of our traders, visitors and staff remains our highest priority.
In the event that a market is cancelled by the organiser due to extreme weather conditions, including but not limited to high winds, severe storms, heavy snowfall, flooding or other adverse weather conditions that pose a significant safety risk, traders will be offered one of the following options:
Option 1 – 75% Refund
Traders may request a refund equivalent to 75% of their original stall booking fee.
The remaining 25% will be retained by the organiser to contribute towards non-recoverable costs already incurred in the planning, administration, marketing and organisation of the event.
Option 2 – 100% Stall Credit
Alternatively, traders may choose to receive a stall credit equivalent to 100% of their original booking fee, which can be redeemed against a future market organised by our company.
This option allows traders to retain the full value of their original booking without incurring any financial loss on their stall fee.
We recognise the time, preparation and financial investment involved in attending our markets. Our extreme weather policy has been designed to provide traders with a fair and transparent resolution while recognising the unavoidable costs associated with organising and promoting events.
We remain committed to supporting our traders and ensuring that any cancellations are managed professionally, fairly and with clear communication.
Where an event is cancelled due to circumstances beyond the organiser's reasonable control, including extreme weather, the above refund and credit options will apply, subject to traders' statutory rights. The organiser will not be responsible for additional costs incurred by traders, including travel, accommodation, stock preparation or loss of anticipated earnings, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
