Trader FAQ’s and Conditions of Trade

1. Public Liability Insurance
This must be a minimum of £5 million.
This can be easy sourced and we recommend using Compare the Market.
2. Completed Risk Assessments for stalls and staff

4. Hot Food Sellers, If running from gas, have gas safety certificates available.
You will be asked to upload relevant centrifuges during the online booking process.
Most of our events offer a ‘Gazebo Provided’ option, in which you will be provided a Gazebo to share with another trader. You will be provided with a 3m x 1.5m space.
All trades are required to bring their own tables as these are not provided.
Bookings are available via the website. Please navigate to the appropriate event page.
Selected booking forms will require a passcode to protect the quality of the event.
Some events require you to provide your car registration to that our event partners can grant you extended free parking for the duration of the event.
Set-up instructions are usually sent the Monday before the event. These will be sent via email.
No. Electricity is not provided as a standard at our events.
Selected events may have access to one electric point but this is not guaranteed. We do however allow silent/gas generators on selected events with the relevant certification that must be uploaded when completing the booking form.
No. Unfortunately, we only permit one business per allocation gazebo space.
Standard pitches are 3M X 3M. Please do not bring anothing larger than this as you may be unable to trade.
We may be able to accommodate a larger pitch size for selected events at our discretion, and for an additional fee, but this must be requested in advance.
If you are using one of our gazebo shares, you will be provided a 3M X 1.5M spaces in a 3M X 3M gazebo. You will be sharing this gazebo back to back with another trader.
Trader Requirements and Conditions of Trade
By completing the booking form and paying for a stall, you are agreeing to the following conditions:
Trader Requirements:
- Public liability insurance, minimum of £5million of cover.
- Completed Risk Assessments for stalls and staff.
- Your infrastructure MUST be suitable for an outdoor event and you must have sufficient weights on all 4 gazebo legs.
- All food sellers - to be registered with their local council and have the relevant health and hygiene ratings
- Hot Food Sellers - If running off gas - have gas safety certificates available.
Conditions of Trade:
Bookings are only confirmed on receipt of payment which is requested with your stall confirmation email.
If the event is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances such as extreme weather a transfer will be made of your stall fee to the next month's date, if you request a refund this will be 75% of the market fee made to cover operational costs already incurred. By paying and attending this event you are agreeing to D&D Artisan Markets’ requirements which are conditions of trade. Please ensure that you and your staff are aware of the requirements. No refunds will be made due to trader cancellation.
D&D Artisan Markets reserves the right to withdraw your booking or amend event details at any time for operational purposes.
